Sidney 3, Norwich 2

NORWICH – Dean Howard scored the lone goal of the second half to give Sidney a one-goal victory over Norwich Monday.

Nick Meno tallied twice for Sidney in the first only to be countered by Norwich freshman Luis Diaz's first two goals of the season as the two clubs went into halftime deadlocked.

"I felt we outplayed them and we did a good job, but that's the breaks of the game," said Norwich coach Scottie Decker. "We outshot them, we just couldn't put it in the cage.”
