Oneida 2, Sherburne-Earlville 1

SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville took a step in the right direction Monday night, albeit in a defeat to Oneida.

The Indians' Taylor Schneider snapped a one-all tie with 2:14 left in the game to give her team the victory.

"Even though there was no practice between games, this was a 100 percent improvement over the weekend," said S-E coach Sheila Cooman. "The defense was better, we put pressure on their goalie...I really wish we could have pulled out the win."
