Tree down on Hale Street Wednesday

A storm Wednesday afternoon caused a tree to fall onto power lines on Hale Street in Norwich, resulting in a road closure and power outages. Power was out for more than 2,400 NYSEG customers, power was restored at approximately 5 p.m., according to authorities.
