Chenango Arts Council And Wilson Ceramics Offer Advanced Art Summer Camp

NORWICH – The Chenango Arts Council and Wilson Ceramics are pleased to offer a 2014 Advanced Art Summer Camp from July 28 through August 15.

The Advanced Art Summer Camp is geared towards students going into 6th grade and up. It is taught by Matthew Wilson, current Norwich Middle School art teacher and owner of Wilson Ceramics. Classes are offered in drawing (black & white), drawing (color), painting, printmaking and ceramics.

Students may sign up for weekly half day classes (9:30-11:30 a.m. and noon to 2p.m.), full day weekly classes or the full three week camp. The ceramics class is a two-week session due to the kiln firing times.

Students attending full day classes are invited to bring lunch and eat from 11:30 a.m. -12 p.m. All classes include the instruction, supplies, equipment and Advanced Art Summer Camp t-shirt. The half day weekly rate is $65 per session (ceramics rate is $125), full day rate is $120, and the full three week camp rate is $325.

Space is limited to 15 students per session. The registration deadline is June 27. Reserve your spot now.
