Local merger sounds a lot like success

NORWICH – When it comes to audio and video installation services a new company recently announced they are not only up and running, but they have also been picking up work throughout the city.

Millennia Installations officially opened in the beginning of the year. Owners Rhett Genung and Terry Potter have been friends as well as business associates for several years. The two say it was a no brainer when they decided to join their companies; Rhett Genung Audio/Video Installation and Integration and Millennia Entertainment. By joining forces, the team hopes to diversify the already established entertainment forum by establishing this company together.

“This was the next logical step in business,” said Potter owner of Millennia Entertainment, who specializes in musical entertainment as well as local/regional event planning. “If you've ever been to the Dick's Sporting Goods Open, Spiedie Fest,or a show at The Foothills Performing Arts Center in Oneonta these are just a few events and venues that Millennia Entertainment is associated with.”

Potter says he has worked with Rhett on numerous projects in the past, “His knowledge and background with audio and video is extensive,” said Potter.

Genung, who is from Norwich, and owner of Rock Star DJ services said, “I think this audio/video venture is a service that many local businesses can definitely benefit from.”
