Keeping Busy, Patrollers! The Toddster has been really busy and we hope you enjoyed the Toddster's Takes last week. Getting ready for another one down the road. This time we have to do what we do best and get some DVDS for us all. Let's Go!

New on DVD

3 Days to Kill- Family has a way of becoming important to us especially when you might not have long to live. Ethan Renner (Kevin Costner) was one of the best CIA agents in the World and did it for a long time. His job made it hard for him to be close to his wife Christine (Connie Britton) and his Daughter Zooey (Hailee Steinfield). Things change during one of Ethan's missions after he finds out he only has about 3 monthss to live. Ethan decides that he wants to spend that time trying to make up for lost time and spend it with his family. The CIA may have other ideas. Vivi Delay (Amber Heard) may have a cure for Ethan's condition but he'll have to work for it by going on one more mission. Will Ethan be able to do his job and make things right with his family? Costner is currently in "Draft Day in theaters now. Costner also some terrific DVDS available in stores including "Mr Brooks,""The Guardian" (with Ashton Kutcher), and "Open Range" (with Robert Duvall and Annette Bening).

Story Continues Below Adverts

The Monuments Men- No one likes to see precious things destroyed. During World War II, this happened a lot. A crack team of Soldiers led by Frank Stokes (George Clooney) was given the task of going into Europe to try and find as many of them as possible to return to the right people. Frank had to recruit a crack squad of men including James Granger (Matt Damon). James wasn't sure if about joining up because he wasn't sure if they could pull this off. Frank always had a way of finding something to persuade someone to do what he wanted. Are they going to be able to complete their mission? We always like to look at what gets a star started and we couldn't resist telling that George Clooney was put on the map with a little show called "ER" and the show is currently available in stores now.

Also on DVD

Vampire Academy- There are those who have a way of fighting what they truly are. Based on the best selling book series, Rose Hathaway (Zooey Deutsch) didn't want nothing to do with a secret war that had been going on for years between two classes of vampires- the Moroi and the Stringoi. The Stringoi were the bloodthirsty class who wanted nothing more than to take down the Moroi. To avoid this, Rose ran away with her friend Lissa (Lucy Fry) who was actually the Princess. Time passes and they think they found a way to escape the war but your destiny always has a knack of catching up with you. Christian (Dominic Sherwood) was the head of the protectors who were tasked to find them and they end coming back to the Vampire Academy where they will be better off. Rose doesn't think so but she might have to give things a chance. Certain parties want nothing more than to hurt Lissa and Rose won't let that happen. Can she protect her friend and become a better protector in her own right? The next book in the series has a chance of being made into a movie too. Stay tuned!

How to Train Your Dragon- Cartoon Spotlight couldn't resist this one. Hiccup was always taught that dragons were to be hated and feared. After he finds a baby dragon who seems to be more afraid of him than he is. Hiccup's curiosity brings him to realize that the dragon needs help and realizing that he's having trouble flying. With a little ingenuity, Hiccup manages to solve this problem and he finds a new friend. Now he just has to make everyone else come to terms with the fact that not all dragons are bad. Is Hiccup going to be able to pull it off? Hiccup and his pal continue their adventures in "How to Train Your Dragon 2" coming to theaters on June 13.

Before we go, two theaters that the Toddster always checks out is the Hamilton Theater where you can find the best movies by contacting them at (315) 824-2724 or online at www.hamiltontheater.net. Also, our friends at the Colonia Theatre have a number of upcoming movies. You can contact them at 334-2135 or online at www.thecoloniatheatre.com. Their construction is still ongoing but that doesn't keep them from bringing some really great movies to the folks in Chenango County.
