Published: May 23rd, 2014

OXFORD – Local producers in Oxford welcome everybody back for another great season at the Oxford Farmers’ Market, on Saturdays, 9 am to 12 noon, in Lafayette Park, at Route 12, in the Village of Oxford.

Offerings include fresh-picked, locally grown produce, flowers, herbs, and specialty items throughout the season such as wild leeks, shiitake mushrooms, black currants, elderberries, squash blossoms, and lemony sorrel. Pick up a dozen farm-fresh eggs; stock your cabinet with preserves, maple syrup, and honey; and fill your breadbox with wholesome sourdough bread, delicious cookies and pies, and sweet and savory baked goods. Also available are handcrafted items, plants, and dried herb-and-flower teas. All products at the Oxford Farmers’ Market are made with hands you can meet, hands you can shake.
