Plymouth man charged with grand larceny

PLYMOUTH Plymouth resident and former Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department Treasurer Andrew Cushman was arrested on November 12, 2013 following an investigation by the New York State Police Troop C into the disappearance of funds from accounts he was responsible for.

It is alleged that Cushman, age 25, stole more than $10,000 from the Town of Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) while acting as the department treasurer, a position he has held for more than two years. Cushman, who has been with the department since age 16, is being charged with third degree grand larceny, a class D felony.
