Officer Francis was one of twenty nine officers to complete the arduous eight months of training. This training consisted of New York State laws, the US Constitution, firearms proficiency, physical fitness and many other areas of police duties and responsibilities.

“We are all very proud of Officer Francis and look forward to the Norwich Police Department being fully staffed for the first time in nearly a year” said Norwich Police Chief Joseph Angelino.

Officer Francis is a resident of Norwich and is a soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve where he serves as a Medic.
