SOUTH OTSELIC – Brookfield scored all three of its goals after halftime in recording its second shutout victory over Otselic Valley this season.

Kevin Abrams scored on a free kick just two minutes into the second half, and Jake Cowen scored the next two for the Beavers, the latter on a penalty kick. "It was a tale of two halves," said OV coach Jacob Preston. "We had two or three good scoring opportunities in the first half, and we did not capitalize.
