Time To Get Falling, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol is back on track again finding some movies and TV shows as we always do. The Toddster wants to send a special shoutout to both Brian Golden and Kevin Doonan who I understand are moving on to other things. It's been a hoot guys, writing about movies with you – but as the old saying goes, "The Show must go on." Check this out.

Story Continues Below Adverts

Iron Man 3 – As we told you last time, the Armored Avenger is back. The last time we saw Iron Man in action, he joined the Avengers in New York to fend off an alien invasion. You would think that would give our hero some peace after helping save the world. As we join Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr), not everything is going as well as he would like. After the events of New York, he's haunted by those events and his armor seems to have a mind of its own. He's been experimenting with different types of armor where it can move around by itself. Tony still has Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Rhodey (Don Cheadle) to help him out. He'll need them to defend himself against a new threat called the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley). Also, a scientist (Guy Pearce) wants Tony to help him with a new project called Extremis that has turned people into walking bombs and now has his sights set on Pepper. Can Tony find a way to stop these new threats before it's too late? Downey has several projects in the works in including "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" set for release in 2015 and another Sherlock Holmes sequel currently in development. Stay Tuned!

Arrow (Season 1) – Sometimes it takes a while to forge a hero. Ask Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). This was the Toddster's favorite new show last year. We meet Queen as he has been marooned on a remote Island for five years. Oliver has to learn all new skills to survive. He's rescued and returned to Starling City where he grew up. He meets up again with his family but finds that everything and everyone he knew has changed. The new skills that Oliver has will be useful, since he also found out that his father and others from Starling City have used their influence to make the city a tough place to live. Oliver plans to make things right because his father sacrificed himself so that Oliver could make it back. What will Oliver do next? Season 1 is on shelves now with Season 2 starting at 8 p.m., Wednesday Oct. 9, on the CW network.

Hawaii Five-O (Season 3) – Everyone likes the good guys. We join Steve Mcgarrett (Alex O'laughlin), Danny "Dano" Williams (Scott Caan), Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Daw Kim), and Kono Kelly (Grace Park) as they battle crime on the streets and beaches of Hawaii. In the Season 3 premiere, Mcgarrett and the team have been pursuing a mobster named Wo-Fat (Mark Descascos) and his organization for the murders of some important figures but making things complicated for Steve is the return of his mother who he thought was dead. Will he be able to find out what is going and help his team get Wo-Fat? If you haven't been watching Hawaii Five-O, you can catch past episodes Thursdays on TNT beginning at 9 p.m. with Season 4 starting up on CBS on a new night beginning at 8 p.m., Friday September 27.

Sharknado – No one likes natural disasters. Although, no one likes double whammies either. How about a whole lot of them? Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) was an expert surfer who competed until he retired and opened up a bar and restaurant on the beach in Los Angeles. He was always familiar with everything the ocean has to offer including the danger of sharks. He's about to experience something a whole lot worse. A hurricane is headed for Los Angeles that is also kicking up a lot of water spouts and this is pushing a number of sharks towards the city. These spouts manage to pick the sharks up and throw them into the city. This rains down a whole bunch of maneaters. Now, fearing for his family, Fin and his friends have to find them while avoiding and battling these big toothed animals. Will they be able to make it? This is one of those movies that's a guilty pleasure that you can help but check out and the Syfy Channel says that a sequel is already in the works.

Keeping pretty busy as always for all the Patrollers. I even picked another copy of "Iron Man 3" for my nephew Aiden as we wish him a Happy Birthday. He turns 5 and it's an uncle’s job to spoil kids rotten. More movies coming as we head into the Fall and October. The Toddster is back next week.
