Staff Sgt. Brian S. Law, on right, receives his Certificate of Retirement plaque from the Army Chief of Staff at a March 7 luncheon and cake party held in his honor at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. In addition, Law was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from President Obama and a Meritorious Service Medal Certificate. His wife, Kathleen, was presented with a bouquet of roses and a Certificate of Appreciation plaque as well. During his 20 years of service, Law took basic training at Ft. Benning, Ga., and additional training at Ft. Lewis, Wa.; Ft. Drum, NY; and Ft. Huachucka, Az. He served two tours in Germany, a tour in Iraq and Korea, and time in Saudi Arabia and Kosovo. He is the son of Betty & Del Law of Sherburne.
