DVD Patrol

Time for something new, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol is back for a few new DVDs and even a brand new Toddster’s Take. The Toddster was able to take a look at “The Last Stand.” This is the new Arnold Schwarzenegger movie that came out over the weekend and I even got to meet the Barnes family, who is running the Colonia Theater. More on them later. Here we go to see what we see.

New on DVD

End of Watch - No one said that being a police officer was an easy job. Dan Taylor (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Mike Zavala (Michael Pena) have been partners for awhile now and they know that what they do isn’t easy. The officers go about doing what they think is their normal everyday job. They run across what they think is just a normal drug bust until they find out that a gang is moving in. The two officers have been targeted by the gang to even go so far as to go after their families. Will Dan and Mike be able to stop them before their jobs spill into their lives? Gyllenhaal has some great DVDs from the archives including “Source Code,” “Brothers,” and “Love and Other Drugs” (starring Anne Hathaway) available in stores now.
