Committee meets to discuss courts office space needs

ORWICH – A special committee formed to study the additional office needs of New York’s Sixth Judicial District met last month with court administrators and has already received a response back from them regarding a list of nine possible venues in the county’s seat.

The Chenango County Board of Supervisors made known earlier this summer that it was considering the acquisition of the former Morrisville State College building on North Broad Street to accommodate the court’s space needs.
