Published: September 13th, 2012

HAMILTON – NYC based powerhouse Gent Treadly returns to The Palace Theater with special guest Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Legend of The Band, Garth Hudson at The Palace Theater Friday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m.

Gent Treadly, led by Greg Koerner, has performed at The Palace previously with Vince Welnick of Grateful Dead and The Tubes, as well as New Orleans musical royalty Henry Butler last year. Gent Treadly offers a precocious mix of original music and a diverse selection of classic songs created by their special guests. This will be Mr. Hudson’s first visit to The Palace - his virtuoso and musical genius will intoxicate your senses with his gorgeous piano playing and magic fingers on an electric keyboard.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be playing with Garth Hudson. The music he created as a member of The Band is iconic in the truest sense of the word – those songs are timeless and in many ways Garth was the architect of that sound. His playing is immediately recognizable and listening to his playing over our music is a true delight and consistently reminds how lucky we are to be sharing the stage with him!” says Greg Koerner of Gent Treadly. “We also thank Dave Hale, Murray Decock, and Paul Schupf for their energy and support in making this concert happen.”
