DVD Patrol

The Heatwave is here, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol has been enjoying the nice warm weather and it’s hard to believe the ground hog predicted six more weeks of winter. The Toddster isn’t sure what he was seeing that day, but we do have some movies for you if you want to take a break from whatever you’re doing outside. It’s time to look!

New on DVD

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Everyone needs help and sometimes you get it from the strangest places. Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) was a reporter and good at his job until he’s wrongfully accused of a crime he didn’t commit. Now he has a chance to rescue his reputation when he’s hired by a mysterious millionaire (Christopher Plummer) who wants him to find out who killed his niece. He thinks it might be a member of his own family. The deeper Mikael gets, the tougher it gets. He enlists the help of Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara). Lisbeth keeps to herself and has a unusual appearance but she makes up for it with her investigating and computer skills. Mikael’s not sure what to make of her but he knows she can help him. Can they get to the bottom of the case together? Based on the best selling book series, a sequel is already in the works. Craig is currently working on “Skyfall” and is the next James Bond movie set for release at the end of the year.
