NORWICH – Phoenix Project Dance Theatre will hold its third annual Fashion Night Out at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Benedict Corporation in Norwich.

Cocktails will be served until 7, at which point the fashion show will begin. Seating is limited, although there will be standing room. Tickets are $15 for general admission and complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served.

The not-for-profit Phoenix Project Dance began seven years ago as a way to bring seasoned dancers to the community and to rehearse for performances that have taken place throughout the state, from venues in New York City to Old Forge. The company was founded upon the following creed: “To dance outside the box, pushing the creative paradigm of what dance is and what entertainment should be.”

“We’re really starting to have a bigger presence in the community and abroad,” said Executive Director Mikey Perkins. “We’re constantly trying to re-invent ourselves ... trying new things and bringing it to a new level.”
