Workshop addresses online safety for teens

NORWICH – In an effort to address the increasing concern for the safety of kids growing up in a digital age, a special program titled “Teens and Technology” will be offered from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Chenango Count Council of the Arts Auditorium on 27 West Main St.

The presentation is hosted by the Family Resource Network in collaboration with the Chenango County Department of Social Services, Coordinated Children’s Services Initiative, Chenango County Department of Mental Health, Chenango County Probation, Liberty Resources and the Greater Binghamton Health Center. It’s being offered free to the public and parents, caregivers, providers, students and anyone else wishing to attend are welcome to learn of the dangers teens face in a technologically driven society.
