NORWICH – After an eight-day layoff, Norwich resumed its winning ways taking its fourth straight game and 10th in 11 outings.

After a sluggish opening eight minutes, Norwich turned up the offense in the second quarter, and finished the stanza on an 18-2 run. Bryn Loomis scored 10 of her 16 points in the second, and Jennifer Borfitz scored five including a three-point play. “We did a nice job to end the second quarter,” said Norwich coach Josh Bennett. “I felt we didn’t execute as well on offense in the second half, and that was a little frustrating.”

Borfitz and Cassie Sutton chipped in with eight points apiece for the Tornado (10-2), who host Susquehanna Valley Friday night.
