Cyclones fall in state playoff game

SYRACUSE The Norwich Cyclones C team saw its season end in the state playoffs last weekend losing to a swift Kirk Park of Syracuse squad, 31-10.

The Cyclones fell behind 6-0 at the half after a 70-yard Kirk Park touchdown run in the second quarter.

Down 12-0 in the third, the Cyclones threatened to cut that deficit in half. Drew Walsh threw a 25-yard pass completion to Eli Rodriguez, and the Cyclones reached the Kirk Park three-yard line before turning the ball over. The Cyclones, though, put their first points on the board registering a safety to trail 12-2.
