OTSELIC – The political landscape in Otselic could be shaken up a bit in the November elections as new candidates for supervisor, council and justice have entered the race.

Evan T. Williams, a Republican, was nominated at the Republican caucus to run against incumbent Supervisor David J. Messineo, a Democrat.

Town of Otselic Justice Hugh H. Comfort, a Republican, has decided to enter the race for two open positions on the council. He will join the ballot with incumbents Jay C. Graham, Louis Perry and William F. Waltz, all Democrats.

Three candidates for justice are: Republican Charles E. Seward, who was endorsed by his party and also filed a independent petition, Daryel M. Jensen, also a Republican, who got the nod from the Democrats, and independent Kelly Moyer.
