Greene 21, Unatego 0

OTEGO – Greene extended its unbeaten record to 8-0 blasting Unatego on Monday afternoon.

Brittany Youngs went 5-for-5 with three RBI. Rebecca Hanrahan had four hits and an RBI, and Jahna Driscoll added a two-run single. The Trojans finished with a season-high 22 hits, and Hanrahan posted a season-high 18 strikeouts against just one walk. “It was definitely a different atmosphere compared to last weekend,” said Greene coach Rick Smith. “It was something we had to adjust to, and we were looking at too many pitches early in the game. We concentrated on being aggressive and attacking the ball. We were able to hit some nice line drives.”

Greene (5-0, 8-0) hosts Bainbridge-Guilford Wednesday.
