Published: April 14th, 2011

NORWICH – In celebration of their very first rally on Tax Day, April 15, 2009, the Norwich Tea Party Patriots will hold a large Tax Day rally this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the East Side Park in downtown Norwich. This is the group’s third Tax Day Rally since their founding by Charles Resseguie in 2009. “This was in response to the TARP and Stimulus Bills, the government take-over of two car companies, and staggering national debt and spending, among other national concerns,” said Norwich Tea Party Patriots coordinator Gilda Ward.

There will be a full slate of great speakers including Duane Motley, Founder of New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms; James Sacco, Constitutional lawyer; Jay Townsend, former challenger to Sen. Schumer and taxpayer activist; Jim Losie, NRA rep. who will discuss gun rights; Dr. Larry Maxwell,  Revolutionary War re-enactor and head of Brighter Future; Tom Marcelle, attorney with the Alliance Defense Fund; and Max Tollens, businessman and tea party activist, and others.
