Coffee stand reopens under new ownership

NORWICH – Coffee lovers traveling Route 12 south of the city are in luck as the recently-reopened Java Joe’s is once again offering its wide variety of caffeinated and non-caffeinated beverages.

Featuring a fire-roasted Italian blend of coffee that new owner Melvin “Dusty” Magrath called the “smoothest coffee I’ve ever had,” Java Joe’s offers a wide variety of other iced and hot drinks, including teas, cappuccinos, lattes, steamers, espressos, fruit smoothies, blended creams and more. Not to mention Magrath’s signature, homemade whipped cream.

Snacks such as made-from-scratch brownies and carrot cake bars will be available within the next week, added Magrath, and customers can purchase a Java Joe’s membership for $20, with which they’ll receive a discounted price on all purchases and a 16-ounce “Going Green” tumbler.
