Office moves still on the agenda

NORWICH – After more than a decade of cramped office conditions, could 2011 be the year that Chenango County’s district attorney, public defender and court judge finally get to spread out?

Last week, members of the Chenango County Agriculture, Buildings and Grounds Committee toured available space in the former Department of Social Services wing of the Chenango County Office Building. The excursion was precipitated by District Attorney Joseph A. McBride and Public Defender Alan E. Gordon, who submitted a layout and plans for making a temporary move over to the space.
