More Chenango Residents Indicted By Grand Jury

NORWICH – The Chenango County grand jury met Wednesday and handed up several criminal indictments.

At the proceedings, the District Attorney’s Office presents evidence against those they wish to prosecute and the jury decides if there is enough reasonable cause to charge a person.

• Robert V. Shenise Jr. was indicted for fourth degree grand larceny, a class E felony, and petit larceny. According to the indictment, Shenise stole a 2000 Chevy Blazer from a parking lot and pornographic material from an adult store on Oct. 7.

• Jeremy Q. Decker was indicted for third degree sexual abuse, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. Allegedly Decker sexually molested a toddler in the Town of Coventry Nov. 17.

• Bradley J. Romano, 26, was indicted for menacing a police officer, a class D felony, third degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony, two counts of fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon, and one count of resisting arrest, misdemeanors.

At about 2:25 p.m. Dec. 13, the New York State Police at Sidney responded to 1472 County Route 35 in the Town of Guilford, in an attempt to locate Romano, who was wanted on a bench warrant for second degree assault, a class D felony.
