NORWICH – The Norwich Police Department arrested a wanted Virginia man Thursday.

Officers arrests 24-year-old fugitive Timothy W. Potter Jr. at 11 p.m., inside an apartment house on West Main Street yesterday. Potter allegedly fled his state to avoid a possible nine-year prison sentence for his involvement in a felony break-in.

Police said they are in the process of organizing Potter’s return to the Commonwealth of Virginia, where he is wanted for felony level crimes by the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.
