Norwich's Class of 1960 gives back to the community

The Norwich High School Class of 1960, having just celebrated its 50-year reunion, decided to raise funds for two local organizations in appreciation of their efforts to better the community. “We, as a group, were given a fine education and enjoyed the experience of living in Norwich,” a press release from the class members stated. “Those of us who currently live in the area know the needs of both the education arena and the needs of this residents, which are many, given the economic conditions at this time.” On Monday, representatives of the Class of ‘60 made donations to Catholic Charities’ Roots and Wings program and Norwich Dollars for Scholars.
