Hey, gang! The DVD Patrol has slowed down a bit this week so we thought we would try something a little different. You know the old expression something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue? Time to take it even further. When you buy DVDs, you have a choice between standard or Blu-Ray DVDs. Now, older movies have been coming out on Blu-Ray and we decided to bring back some favorites. Let’s see what we’ve got.

Blu- Ray Picks

Batman - The Caped Crusader has gone through several incarnations over the years but this is one of the Toddster’s favorites. Gotham City has been overun with crime but now there is a rumor of a giant bat running around the rooftops of Gotham. Bruce Wayne (Micheal Keaton) lost his parents when he was a boy during a robbery. After traveling the world for several years, Bruce has returned with a way to make the streets safe again. Jack Napier (Jack Nicholson) has been making a play to become the head of organized crime and during a robbery, he meets the Giant Bat himself, Batman. Napier tries to get away and after Batman tries to stop him, Napier falls into a vat of acid that turns him into the Joker. Now the Joker will stop at nothing to get at him. Can Batman stop this new enemy? Also, available on Blu Ray is “Batman Returns,” “Batman Forever,” and “Batman and Robin” in stores now.
