DEPOSIT – Greene rallied for four runs in the top of the seventh to edge Deposit on Friday night.

Brian Day delivered a timely two-out hit doubling in three runs to key the comeback. Day scored an insurance run on a wild pitch. “Funny things have been going for us, and we have scored a lot of runs this year with two outs,” said Greene coach Dave Gorton. “Deposit’s pitcher did well, and so did Nic (Puglisi) for us. Our kids managed to keep coming back.”

Puglisi went the distance allowing just four hits and no earned runs. He struck out 11 and walked just three as Greene improved to 6-2 on the season.
