Ilion’s Sarah Alexander and Sarah Edwards, who combined for 44 points in the two schools’ first meeting this year, totaled just 19 on Thursday. “We talked before the game about containing them, and they hurt us on the offensive glass the first time,” said S-E coach Karen Mulligan. “We did a much better job keeping them off the boards and denying them the basketball.”
