NEW BERLIN – Despite giving up forfeits at 103 and 112 pounds, B-G/Afton was able to prevail rather handily over the Storm on Tuesday night.

Dakota Vandermark (145) started a five-bout winning streak with a decision ove Dylan Aikins. After that skein, the Bears had established a 23-6 advantage.

It was just the second dual meet loss for the Storm this season.

Greene 33, Sidney 24

GREENE – Greene had to rest several starters on Tuesday night, and as a result, Sidney was able to keep the match relatively close.

This year’s schedule allows only 20 points (match events), down two from allowance of 22 last year. To keep his key starters under that limit, Greene coach Tim Jenks had wrestlers such as Tyler Beckwith and Nick Wilcox take a seat.
