NORWICH – In late November, a new adult store opened its doors, and now with renovations completed, a grand opening is planned for Wednesday with the first 100 customers to receive free gift cards.

Adult World Area Manager Mark Riposo said the corporate chain, which operates 18 other outlets in central New York and Pennsylvania, has been working to bring the Norwich location up to speed.

“We want a well-lit, friendly, secure location. What we want to get away from is the dingy, dirty atmosphere some places are known to have. That’s not our way of doing things at Adult World,” said Riposo.

Riposo explained that the store would offer adult DVDs, novelties, clothing and lingerie for customers 18 years and older.
