New Berlin marijuana crop cleared by police

NEW BERLIN Tuesday, police officers in the Town of New Berlin raided the property of a 51-year-old man and seized 35 marijuana plants, estimated to have a street value of $25,000 to $35,000.

Michael F. Dibbell was charged with growing cannabis, a misdemeanor, by the Town of New Berlin Police Department after they, along with the New York State Police, searched the 70-acre property with a helicopter.
