Oxford PD Puts A Stop To Underage Drinking On Greene Street

OXFORD – Six arrests were made yesterday in relation to an out of control party which ended with at least 15 people brawling in the middle of Greene Street, according to Oxford’s chief of police.

“We are stopping this behavior right now,” said Chief Richard Nolan, who reported that at least three more arrests will be made today related to the incident which involved underage drinking.

According to Nolan, the party began around 4 p.m. on the grass in front of a rental unit at 20 Greene Street inhabited by 29 year-old Timothy Byrne.
