Rolling Antiquers present 44th annual car show this weekend

NORWICH – Muscle cars, street rods, antique and classic cars and military vehicles will swarm to Norwich this weekend as part of the Rolling Antiquers’ 44th Annual Car Show Weekend.

The Rolling Antiquers show will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Chenango County Fairgrounds. According to Antiquers Vice President Sewain Conklin, Saturday’s show will feature muscle cars and street rods, while Sunday’s show will focus more on the antique and classic automobiles.

“With the economy as it is, we were thinking the show might suffer a bit this year, but early enrollment is actually a little better than last year,” said Conklin. “You never know what the final tally will be until they come through the gate,” Conklin said, explaining that people wishing to display their vehicles can register in advance or at the event, but initial figures show an increased participation for this year.

Advanced registration forms can be found online at http://local.aaca/org/raocc. The cost for early registration is $5. Registration the day of the show will cost $10.
