Sherburne moves forward with ambulance

SHERBURNE The Sherburne Ambulance Committee met recently to plan the next steps in the process of implementing a new municipal-based ambulance service.

The Village of Sherburne decided to make the transition to a a municipal-based ambulance service in February. The transition will allow the department to pursue a revenue recovery system, which they hope will eventually help them to hire part-time help during difficult to cover hours.

Mayor William Acee said the committee met with Village Attorney James Taylor to discuss the process of transitioning to a revenue recovery system.
