Susquehanna Valley 10, Norwich 1 (6 innings)

NORWICH – Norwich fell behind at the start, and dropped a home contest to Sus Valley that was shortened to six innings due to rain.

SV starting hurler, Ronnie Graham, had 12 strikeouts, only two walks, and gave up four Norwich hits. Four different Sabers had two basehits, and Chad Starzer’s two-run single in the fourth inning upped his team’s lead to 9-0.

“Their bats were hot and their pitcher was even hotter,” said Norwich coach John Martinson of Sus Valley.
