Nate Eastman highlighted the Oneonta fifth with a two-run single to turn a 5-1 early deficit into a two-run Yellowjackets lead.

Norwich was hampered by the hamstring injury to starter Christian Hotaling, who left after pitching a scoreless first frame. “Oneonta was patient at the plate and the sat on the fastball,” said Norwich coach John Martinson. “They did a nice job making contact with runners in scoring position.”

Brock Kossman had a two-run double in the third inning for Norwich.

Nate Jones was a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples and a double leading the Saints past Norwich Saturday afternoon.

Nick Gosney was 3-for-4 to lead Seton with two triples and a double.

Norwich strung together six hits in the sixth inning scoring five runs to make it 7-6. Mike Moon led Norwich with two hits and one RBI, and Kyle Cashman added a two-run single.
