GREENE – Greene received five strong innings from pitcher Scott Gorton, who allowed just two hits and struck out seven to earn the decision.

Five Greene players had at least two hits led by Dan Carlin’s four RBI. “We were patient at the plate today,” said Greene coach Dave Gorton. “Their pitchers kept the ball away from us, and we did a nice job of hitting the ball the other way.”

Dylan Webb hit a solo homer in the fourth to left field for UV.
