NORWICH – Norwich held Whitney Point scoreless over an 8-minute, 45-second stretch of the first half to take control of Monday’s non-divisional game at Norwich High School.

Whitney Point’s Kelsey Ticknor hit a set shot from 15 feet with 3:48 left in the first quarter to cut Norwich’s lead to 7-6. Hannah Runyon’s basket in the paint started a 14-0 spurt that pushed the lead to 15 points.
