OTEGO – Bainbridge-Guilford was unable to hold a nine-point lead entering the fourth quarter, but limited the Spartans to a single bucket in overtime to prevail on the road.

Bobcats freshman, Randi Conway, broke a 37-37 tie in the extra period hitting a three-pointer, and Kimberly Hart tacked on a free throw. “It’s a big win on the road. It’s been a long time since we won a game at Unatego,” said B-G coach Bob Conway.

Unatego used pressure defense to commence its rally, and Colleen O’Hara’s three-pointer with under 40 seconds left in regulation tied the game. O’Hara had 20 points, but had to work for her points, Conway said. “Even though O’Hara had 20, I thought Kimberly Hart did a nice job, and one of the biggest parts was Kim Brown’s defense on Harley Judd.”

Judd, Unatego’s center, was limited to just one point.

Dani Conway scored 19 points and pulled down 20 rebounds. Hart led with five assists.
