ONEONTA – Oneonta kept its Class B playoff hopes alive scoring 32 unanswered points to defeat Norwich Friday night, 32-12.

Brendan Pidgeon scored three touchdowns for the Yellowjackets and rushed for 154 yards. Pidgeon scored on a fourth-and-goal from the one in the second quarter, he dashed off-tackle for a 59-yard score in the fourth period, and returned an interception 53 yards for his final touchdown.

Norwich used the big play to build its 12-point lead. Tim Clark connected with David Carson on a 59-yard scoring pass in the first quarter, and Tyler Slater ran 34 yards down the left sideline on the second play of the second quarter.
