Arts Council to exhibit Jason Papke Retrospective

NORWICH – The Chenango County Council of the Arts, Norwich, announces a gallery exhibit entitled The Life Works of Jason Papke. Jason, a Norwich High School graduate, majored in graphic design and marketing at Canandaigua Community College and Oneonta State University. He held numerous graphic arts positions, including Director of Art for Aspen Dental in Syracuse. Jason also worked in design for 3I in Binghamton, Sidney Frank Importers, San Diego and New York (where he helped design the Grey Goose Vodka Orange label), plus numerous other graphic shops in Albany, Ithaca, Norwich and Raleigh, NC.

He created and ran his own graphics and print shop called Ink Unlimited for 3 years in Raleigh before moving back to New York. The shop specialized in commercial sign development, vehicle advertising wraps, and commercial advertising.

As a professional artist, he worked in photography and “extreme” computer graphics.
