Top 5 reasons to attend the 2008 Entrepreneur Forum

Chenango County’s Entrepreneurship Week wraps up tomorrow with the much anticipated 2008 Entrepreneur Forum. The event, made possible by the collaboration of Commerce Chenango and Brower Communications, is targeted to anyone interested in starting or growing a business. Need a reason to attend? The event’s coordinator, Martha Brower of Brower Communications, has enumerated five.

Reason Number 5:  Learn how to turn passion into a lasting business.

Those who attend the Entrepreneur Panel Breakfast Discussion will have the opportunity to listen to local entrepreneurs Jean Hayes, co-founder of Hayes Office Products; Trip deCordova, owner of Benedict Corporation and Leslie Dopkeen, co-owner of Central Diagnostic Imaging, share their secrets to success.

“[Attending the panel] is an investment in business knowledge,” said Brower. And, she added, “to watch Panel Moderator Bruce Erath is pure entertainment.”

Reason Number 4: Have a healthy, wealthy working lunch.

The forum’s Brown Bag Seminar Presentation, “How to become a wealthy entrepreneur” will feature award winning author Dr. Pat Laino.

“Dr. Laino will help everyone understand that ‘wealth’ is not a dirty word and that entrepreneurs can achieve financial success through strong strategies and commitment,” said Brower.

The $30 forum package registration fee includes a brown bag lunch provided by Garf’s as well as an autographed copy of Laino’s book, “Women and Wealth.”
