Otselic Valley 73, G-MU 34

SOUTH OTSELIC – Coming off a flat performance over the weekend, Otselic Valley was sharp from the opening tipoff blitzing G-MU in a non-league rout Monday night.

David Cerasani scored 11 of his 19 points and dished out four of his nine assists in the opening quarter. The Vikings turned the Raiders over again and again, and that yielded multiple fast-break layups for the 28-8 lead. By halftime, the edge was at 45-16 for the unbeaten Vikings (13-0).

“That is probably the best first half of basketball I’ve had a team play in a while,” said Vikings coach Dave Loomis. “I would sleep better at night if I knew we could play like that every time we stepped on the court.”
