Columbus finds a home on the web

COLUMBUS – The Town of Columbus has been a part of Chenango County for 202 years, but now, with the addition of the town’s new web site, it is also a part of the World Wide Web.

Columbus has come a long way in its 200-year history, and the town board has taken the next logical step, by developing a municipal web site – The Planning Board was commissioned to expedite the process. Due to the hard work of Planning Board Chair and now Webmaster Carol Kinne, the web site is now up and running. “She and her fellow planners have made a really good start,” said Town Supervisor George Coates.
