Unadilla Valley 4, Afton 1

NEW BERLIN – Unadilla Valley stayed within a half-game of first place behind Delhi winning against Afton Tuesday.

Mike Bluy and Juston Parks scored goals within the first 2 1/2 minutes of the game, and UV led 3-0 at halftime.

“We controlled most of the play and kept it in their end,” said UV coach Matt Osborne. “We just didn’t find the net often, and their goalie (Phil Sanford) made some nice saves for them.”
