Lost Time brings bluegrass to EOH

EARLVILLE – The Earlville Opera House celebrates regional artists with the seasoned bluegrass sound of Lost Time, who have garnered multi-year nominations from the Syracuse Area Music Awards (SAMMY).  They are showcased at the Earlville Opera House at 8 p.m. Saturday. Seven Oaks Clubhouse Restaurant sponsors the performance.

Lost Time’s musicians have been central to the bluegrass scene in upstate NY since the 1970’s but did not come together until the summer of 2000, when four long-time friends started to play sessions just for pleasure. They chose the name Lost Time to signify all the time they had known each other without falling into this particular pattern of players. Lost Time played its first gig in February of 2001, and by October of that year, had been nominated for a SAMMY.
