City PD nabs four following drug raid

NORWICH – Four individuals are facing a variety of felony and misdemeanor charges following the execution of a “no-knock” search warrant at 7B State St. by the Norwich City Police Department at approximately 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, a search that led to the confiscation of what authorities called a “large quantity of heroin.”

According to a Norwich PD press release, the raid was conducted following a brief investigation into the sale of the narcotic in the city and the search warrant – signed by Chenango County Court Judge Frank Revoir Jr. – was issued shortly thereafter. Detectives with the Norwich PD said they had received information that quantities of heroin were being transported to Norwich from the Southern Tier area.
